Momentum Sparks As Billion-Dollar Brawl Incoming  Joshua-Paul Dream Clash Begins to Gain Thunderous Momentum

Due to lack of opportunities, accept what comes,” that’s how it has been put to Anthony Joshua, who sought a fight with real contenders such as Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury, even Joseph Parker. However, all the top exponents are busy with their upcoming commitments, so the Briton is about to accept a “cardboard fight” against YouTuber Jake Paul. According to promoter Eddie Hearn, both fighters are available so “it’s halfway there.”

The “mental, crazy and dangerous” heavyweight fight between two-time world champion Anthony Joshua and 13-fight novice Jake Paul has great appeal for the Matchroom boss, who has promoted Joshua throughout his professional career, who has held previous talks about this possible fight with Nakisa Bidarian and is convinced that Paul is serious about his desire to face AJ.

Since he started his boxing career, the former YouTuber has always been in the headlines calling out the sport’s biggest stars, promising to one day beat Canelo Alvarez to become world champion. But now Paul is thinking even bigger and recently has set his sights on Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs), the 6-foot-6-inch tall, former world champion and 2012 Olympic gold medallist, who boasts knockout victories over Wladimir Klitschko, Alexander Povetkin and Kubrat Pulev.

However, with the fight against Tyson Fury that Joshua so desires seemingly in danger of never materialising, his team has been contacted about several possible fights. One of these is against Paul, and Hearn claims the idea has merit following his call with Paul’s business partner“This is very real. I had a good chat for about an hour with Nakisa on July 30 and now I think they really want the fight. I really do,” Hearn said.

Paul, 28, last fought in June, when he earned a unanimous decision against former WBC middleweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. over 10 rounds at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Before that, he had beaten 59-year-old veteran Mike Tyson over eight two-minute rounds in November. “Nakisa was very honest and is worried about the fight, but Jake really believes he can win the fight or at least be competitive.”

Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua has not fought since he was knocked out by Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium in June last year, in his bid to become a three-time world heavyweight champion. That night, he weighed just over 252 pounds, while Paul weighed just under 200 pounds in his fight against Chavez. Due to the magnitude of the fight, there is a very good chance it will happen. Talks have begun and for Eddie Hearns it was a very positive conversation where he hopes it will continue in the coming weeks.

Anthony Joshua Taunts Parker’s Mum: “No Point Worrying, the Ending’s Already Written”

In the lead-up to one of the most anticipated heavyweight showdowns of the year, Anthony Joshua has stirred controversy with a cutting remark aimed not at his opponent Joseph Parker—but at Parker’s mother, Sala. During a press interaction ahead of the fight, Joshua, usually known for his calm and respectful demeanor, shocked reporters with a bold statement: “No point worrying, the ending’s already written.”

The remark, directed at Sala Parker, has since gone viral, lighting up social media and reigniting debates about the psychological warfare that often surrounds boxing’s biggest bouts. For some, it was a cold, calculated mind game. For others, it was a step too far.

The Context Behind the Comment

Sala Parker, known to be a strong supporter of her son’s career, recently expressed her anxiety over Joseph stepping back into the ring with a fighter as explosive and powerful as Joshua. In an interview with a New Zealand outlet, she shared her natural concern for her son’s safety and well-being, saying, “Every time he fights, I get nervous. He’s strong, he’s trained, but this is Anthony Joshua we’re talking about.”

Joshua, apparently aware of Sala’s comments, responded with a touch of bravado that some believe was designed to rattle the Parker camp ahead of fight night. “Tell her not to worry,” Joshua said with a smirk. “There’s no point. The ending’s already written.”

A Different Side of Anthony Joshua?

The former unified heavyweight champion has long been viewed as one of boxing’s most composed figures. Humble in defeat and gracious in victory, Joshua’s public image has rarely included trash talk, especially when it comes to opponents’ families. But as the stakes continue to rise, perhaps so does his willingness to play the psychological game.

“Boxing isn’t just about fists,” said one insider from Joshua’s camp. “It’s about the mind. If he can get inside Parker’s head—or even the people around him—it’s a win before the first bell.”

Joseph Parker’s Response

Parker, never one to back down from a verbal jab, responded with class but didn’t hide his irritation. “My mum has nothing to do with this fight. I’ll be the one in the ring with him. If he thinks a few words will shake us, he’s in for a surprise.”

The Kiwi heavyweight went on to say that Joshua may be overcompensating. “It sounds like someone who’s unsure. If you’ve really written the ending, you don’t need to say it—you show it.”

Fan Reactions Split

The remark has divided fans across social media. Some believe Joshua is simply firing back with the confidence of a fighter who knows what he brings to the table. Others believe he crossed a line by dragging a fighter’s mother into the narrative.

One Twitter user wrote: “AJ is finally showing some edge. I love it. This is the kind of fire we’ve been waiting for.”

Another posted: “Disrespecting a fighter’s mum? That’s low, even for pre-fight hype.”

Mind Games or Misstep?

Boxing history is full of psychological warfare—Muhammad Ali famously taunted Joe Frazier for years, while Tyson Fury has never shied away from getting under his opponents’ skin. Some analysts see Joshua’s comment as a move in that same playbook.

“Anthony’s trying to remind Parker—and everyone else—that he’s still the alpha in this division,” said veteran commentator Carl Franklin. “And he’s doing it in a way that grabs headlines and makes Parker feel the pressure.”

With tensions escalating and tempers flaring, the verbal war between Joshua and Parker has added a fiery new layer to their upcoming bout. Whether Joshua’s comment was strategic or spontaneous, one thing is certain: it has only added more intrigue to an already electric matchup.

As for Sala Parker, her voice remains calm amid the noise. In a brief response to the media, she simply said, “My son doesn’t need me to defend him. He’ll do that himself—in the ring.”

And that’s exactly where this battle will be decided. Words may sting, but fists will ultimately write the final chapter. Whether Joshua’s prediction proves prophetic or premature, the world will be watching. And so, it seems, will Sala Parker.

Boxing World on Alert After Jake Paul Drops Vague Hint About Anthony Joshua, Message Sparks Frenzy Over Possible Anthony Joshua Showdown

Jake Paul’s evolution from influencer brawls to targeting boxing royalty has captured the public’s imagination. Fresh off his victory over former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., ‘The Problem Child’ boldly announced his ambition to face ex-unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

Backed by boxing impresario Turki Alalshikh, there appeared to be mutual interest and the financial muscle to make the matchup happen, despite some pundits advising Joshua to pursue a mega fight with Tyson Fury instead. With Fury’s emphatic retirement pronouncement quashing that possibility, the path seems clear for Paul versus Joshua.

Recently, Paul’s promotional outfit, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), added fuel to the fire. On Instagram, MVP posted an evocative shot of Paul standing atop the Empire State Building, surveying Manhattan’s skyline, accompanied by the teaser, “MVP has learned that there will be Jake Paul news soon,” immediately followed by MVP’s trademark self-aware wink: “How soon and what news?..MVP has not learned that.”

Boxing Star George Groves Floats Bold Plan for Fury vs Joshua Battle

The former super middleweight champion has been outspoken on the subject, with Groves pleading with Fury and AJ to fight this year.

A very unlikely scenario now, but with Fury mounting a return and Joshua likely ready to fight by December, a glimmer of hope for the all-British clash still looms.

However, both men’s focuses are on very different fights with the ‘Gypsy King’ eyeing an Oleksandr Usyk rematch and Watford’s own looking towards a Jake Paul crossover clash.

George Groves suggests ‘super exciting’ Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua concept, not over 12 rounds

‘Saint George’, though, is still adamant that both men should be focused on one another instead of repeating fights.

Speaking to Escapist Magazine, the 37-year-old disregarded an Usyk fight for either man.

He said: “Do I want to see Usyk vs Fury again? No. There is no point in that fight. They’re playing for best-of-five at this point.

“He (Usyk) soundly beat Fury. Almost knocked him out the first time, didn’t he? He soundly beat Joshua.”

Instead, he proposed a ‘super exciting’ concept for a potential British heavyweight bout.

“The only fight now for Fury is Joshua. I think, have one and be done. I don’t think we need this rematch,” he said.

“Do it over five rounds. Just make it super exciting, rapid fire. I think Usyk has completed boxing and he should be done.”

British Heavyweight Breaks Silence on Possible Seven-Figure Joshua Jackpot After Upcoming Win

A fight against Anthony Joshua is a huge achievement for many British heavyweights.

The 2012 Olympic gold medallist has had his fair share of domestic fights, facing the likes of Dillian ‘The Body Snatcher’ Whyte and Daniel Dubois amongst others.

Anthony Joshua is still a world-class heavyweight despite his knockout loss to ‘DDD’ and his two defeats to the now-undisputed heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk.

Since suffering an elbow injury, he has been unable to compete in the ring, but rumours of a return next year have intensified, with Tony Yoka, who had ‘intense’ sparring with Dubois, one such name floated around.

A British heavyweight could land an incredible Anthony Joshua fight if he wins in October

Whilst no concrete names have yet emerged for the comeback fight, one British heavyweight has been promised a huge seven-figure fight against AJ, Deontay Wilder, or Joseph Parker if he wins in October.

Dave Allen will headline in Sheffield against the formidable Arslanbek Makhmudov, and if he wins, a big fight is ready to be delivered by Eddie Hearn.

In an interview with TalkSport, he cautiously responded to the news.

Allen said: “Yeah, it’s difficult because it’s hard not to look at that.

“But Makhmudov would be the best win of my career. People keep telling me all you’ve got to do is hit him to the body and take him a few rounds. I’m not Agit Kabayel, I wish I were Agit Kabayel.”

Parker is waiting on Usyk’s next move, and Wilder is looking for his next rival after stopping Tyrrell Herndon in the seventh round of his return bout.

“I’m not Tyson Fury, I’m not Oleksandr Usyk, I am Dave Allen, I’m not a bad fighter, but Arslanbek Makhmudov is a big ask for me,” he said.

“This already is my world title fight, talks of Wilder, Joshua, Parker, but if I don’t beat Makhmudov, they will never happen.”

Hearn has had Jake Paul discussions for the Watford fighter for next year, but with established heavyweight names lining up as potential suitors for his first fight back, it could be the Doncaster heavyweight’s turn next year.

Anthony Joshua Unveils Bold Masterplan With Eddie Hearn to Propel England to World Cup Glory

Anthony Joshua is no stranger to Wembley Stadium, but he could soon be heading back there to watch one of his clients.

The two-time heavyweight world champion has sold out England’s home of football on four occasions, and has now talked up getting involved in the beautiful game on a full-time basis.

Now aged 35 and heading towards the end of his career, ‘AJ’ posted a surprise Instagram story referencing his famous promoter Eddie Hearn.

“The family has conquered darts, snooker, pool, boxing, fishing, golf, owning a football club and you’ve had a presence in basketball, netball and gymnastics,” he wrote to his 16.5million followers.

“I believe ‘we’ could look at the football agency industry and have a strong presence.

“Imagine we help manage the player who helped England win the World Cup. Call me tomorrow mate.”

Hearn reposted the message with emojis of a football and handshake, which comes as no surprise given his previous comments.

Speaking with GQ back in 2020 Hearn was left shocked when asked about becoming a football agent.

“Do you know what? I’ll just say it. Me and AJ are talking about doing it.

“We’ve looked at it for a while and he mentioned it to me the other day and he said: ‘You know how to represent athletes, you can use my brand and my name, I know a lot of the players, we go out’.

“‘You know how to build a career on the pitch and off the pitch commercially, so what do you think?’

Why Hearn moving into football makes sense

Hearn is one of boxing’s most famous faces despite never putting on the gloves, helping take the sport to a whole new level after inheriting his father Barry’s empire.

Assisting him on the way has been Joshua’s undoubted star power, while recent agreements with the sporting wing of Saudi Arabia’s government has seen cash flow into the sport like never before.

Hearn also has football experience too, from when his father was the chairman of Leyton Orient from 1995 to 2014.

A Great Possibility Emerges As Anthony Joshua Eyeing Surprise Opponent for Comeback Clash

Anthony Joshua’s comeback opponent could be a fellow Olympic gold medallist as a ‘warm-up’ ahead of a mega fight with Tyson Fury next year.

Speaking on talkSPORT, former European super bantamweight champion, Spencer Oliver, revealed that Tony Yoka is a ‘great possibility’ as Joshua’s next fight.

Oliver said: “Do I think they are going to fight? I think that is a great possibility. We get two Olympic gold medallists going at it. Tony Yoka is trying to rekindle his career after losing to the likes of Carlos Takam. Doesn’t it make sense? Two Olympic gold medallists, there is history there.

“It will be a great fight, it is a sellable fight, I would love to see it.”

Yoka was a standout in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, winning a gold medal for France, but is currently rebuilding from three consecutive losses as a professional to Martin Bakole, Carlos Takam and Ryad Merhy.

He has since registered three wins, and despite a less-than-favourable run of form, Yoka has great pedigree, having beaten big-name heavyweight contenders Filip Hrgovic, Joe Joyce and Joseph Parker as an amateur, making him a tricky proposition for the former unified heavyweight champion.

Since his knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in September last year, Joshua has undergone minor surgery to his elbow and is looking to come back at the end of the year, according to his promoter, Eddie Hearn.

Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh has also weighed in on Joshua’s future and said that before he and Fury potentially face off next year they both need a tune-up fight, having both lost in their last outing.

He told The Boxing Voice: “Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury next year, we are trying to do it and we are thinking about it. I need to have for each one, a tune-up fight first.

“Why? Because they are both coming off losses. It’s to build it up.”

Anthony Joshua Sparks Career Shockwave with Cryptic Message to Eddie Hearn Hinting at Major Move

Anthony Joshua has teased a stunning venture with his boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, proposing a major career change.

Joshua has enjoyed a legendary boxing career, having won an Olympic gold medal as an amateur before claiming world titles as a professional.

During the course of his glittering pro career, ‘AJ’ has picked up the IBF, WBA (super) and WBO world heavyweight belts.

But the 35-year-old’s pro career is coming to an end, with Hearn previously suggesting his star client has ‘two or three fights’ left before he hangs up the gloves for good.

Unexpected Anthony Joshua And Eddie Hearn Urged to Take on Stunning New Venture Outside Boxing

THROUGHOUT his professional boxing career, Anthony Joshua has been promoted by Eddie Hearn and the pair have built both a formidable business relationship and friendship. Now, ‘AJ’ has shared an idea for Hearn and himself to tackle a new business venture, as his retirement from boxing nears.

Just last week, Anthony Joshua, 28-4 (25 KOs), took to social media to pay credit to both Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing after 12 years working with the promotional outfit, dating back to his 2013 pro debut.

Joshua stated that ’12 years ago, he signed with Matchroom Boxing and 12 years later he will throw his last punch with them’, insinuating that his next fight could be his last.

Now, again on his Instagram, Joshua has continued to look towards life after boxing, this time suggesting that the dynamic duo could enter the competitive football agency industry.

“It’s A Rumour” A Leading Boxing Trainer Has Downplayed The Swirling Speculation Surrounding a Potential Clash Between Anthony Joshua And Jake Paul

Anthony Joshua’s trainer Ben Davison is not excited about a potential fight between his charge and Jake Paul, warning there is a serious risk attached to such a bout and questioning the safety aspects of the proposed matchup.

Davison knocked those calling for the fight, insisting that safety must come first and expressing concern that the possibility of something going wrong should be enough to stop the fight from happening.

Speaking to Boxing Scene, Davison said, “I don’t like all that (a fight with Paul). First and foremost, how can people even talk about that? Two, where’s the safety aspect in boxing? Do you know what I mean? There is a serious risk with something going wrong.

“Unfortunately, it might take something like that for people to be like, ‘Hold on, we’ve got to reconfigure this’. But somebody would pass it, someone would allow it, somebody would sanction it.”

However, Paul appears to have temporarily abandoned his pursuit of a cruiserweight world title in favour of calling out Joshua, with the two having shared exchanges both publicly and privately.

The former two-time heavyweight champion has been linked with several names for his comeback fight, including Martin Bakole and Olympic gold medallist Tony Yoka.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has hinted that Joshua’s return could take place before the end of the year, whilst a fight between Joshua and Tyson Fury is being targeted for 2026.
