Despite Joshua responded positively Tyson Fury Delivers Surprising Verdict On Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul Fight

A fight between two-time heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua and YouTuber-turned-fighter Jake Paul is a serious possibility. Tyson Fury has weighed in on how it might play out.

Paul has always been ambitious in his call outs. Since beating a 58-year-old faded Mike Tyson last year, he set his sights on Joshua, calling the Olympic Gold Medalist stiff, without skill and lacking a chin.

Despite Joshua responded positively to the tentative offer, most fans would rather him face Fury in a long-awaited, all-British heavyweight scrap. With ‘The Gypsy King’ adamant he is retired, that does not look to be happening anytime soon.

Speaking in a media scrum after confirming that he will not be fighting again, a straight-faced Fury backed the match-up and called it a pick ’em.

“I think it’s a good fight. I think it’s a real, 50/50 fight.”

Joshua himself has expressed his interest in the fight, backed by promoter Eddie Hearn, and Paul remains convinced it will happen in 2026.

The most likely course of action for the Brit is two or three more traditional contests, provided he scores victories, before entertaining the big-money sideshow fight when he has one foot out the door of the sport.

‘AJ’ is expected to return before the end of the year, with the latest update on his recovery from elbow surgery being that he could fit in a full training camp and be ready for November.

As for Paul, his campaign has been bolstered this week by the WBA officially ranking him at number 14 in its cruiserweight rankings. The development means champion Gilberto Ramirez – who also holds the WBO belt – could opt to make a voluntary defence against the American.

Many Were Confused As Trump Family Member Just Reacts To Relationship Of Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump Relationship

Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump are now “Instagram official” after the five-time Masters champion posted about their new romance.

“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together,” he said in the caption of the two photos he posted. “At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”

Ivanka Trump, President Donald Trump’s daughter and sister of Donald Trump Jr., who is Vanessa’s ex-husband congratulated the new couple, writing, “So happy for you both !”

While many fans offered congratulations on their new romance, many were confused by what Woods really meant in the caption.

“Read this caption 10 times and still trying to figure out what it means,” one fan wrote.

“I love Tiger but this post confuses me deeply,” another fan commented.

“Confused on how one requests privacy when making public announcements,” another fan reacted to the post.

The romance between Woods and Vanessa made headlines last week when an insider revealed that they have been dating for a couple of months.

“They have a lot in common. They’ve both gotten used to public scrutiny. They both know how to keep their private life private. They’re both parents,” the insider told the Daily Mail.

Vanessa shares five children with ex-husband Donald Trump Jr. Woods shares two children with his ex-wife Elin Nordegren.

Woods “always tried to date girls who just weren’t right for him,” the source says but this time it’s different.

“They’re a good match; they’re level-headed, they like to avoid drama, they share a lot of the same values,” the source adds.

Besides the couple’s Instagram official announcement, one of the latest updates in their relationship is that Woods told Nordegren that the two are now a couple. The former model was called by Woods to tell the news and she reportedly responded: “Seriously? A Trump? For real?” Nordegren reportedly reacted to the news per Page Six.

“Tiger knew it was going to get out eventually so he had to make the phone call to Elin before his love life ended up in the newspapers again,” the insider said.

However, the conversation was “pleasant” and “almost friendly conversation” the outlet reports.

Nordegen was apparently already familiar with Vanessa as due to their children attending the same school. Charlie and Sam Woods are Woods and Nordegren’s children and Vanessa and Trump Jr.’s Kai also attends the Florida school.

“The school really requires parental involvement,” the friend who claims to be close to the couple said. “So their paths crossed a lot, they had a lot of people in their circles.”

The insider continued, “It’s a community where they saw each other frequently. So Elin also knew exactly who Vanessa was.”

Charlie and Sam “like” Vanessa and Nodegren reportedly just “processed the information and wished them well.”

Tiger woods

“They’re not the type to give each other their ‘blessing’ per se, but they keep each other in the loop with anyone who is going to spend any amount of time around the kids,” the source, who is reportedly friends with the former couple.

There “was really no reason for any drama with Elin” when she was informed of their relationship.

Tiger Woods says he and Vanessa Trump ‘look forward to their journey through life together.’ Here’s a timeline of their relationship.

Tiger Woods: In March, the legendary golfer and Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife confirmed their relationship through social media posts shared on X and Instagram.

“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” Woods captioned the posts, which showed photos of the couple side-by-side and hugging. We look forward to our journey through life together.

Trump, 47, and Woods, 49, reportedly bonded over their children’s shared passion for golf.

Kai Trump, Vanessa and Donald Jr.’s daughter and the president’s eldest grandchild, has gained a following on social media as a golf content creator and has committed to playing for the University of Miami in 2026.

Woods has been associated with the president and his family since Donald Trump’s first term in the White House, when the president awarded Woods the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Vanessa Trump and Woods did not respond to Business Insider’s requests for comment for this story.

Woods returned from the delay with a bogey but gathered momentum with birdies on three straight holes and five of the last eight overall to rise into the Top 12.

Pinehurst’s No. 2 has hosted five major championships, including four U.S. Open championships, most recently in 2024.

It is considered an “anchor site” for the United States Golf Association and will host four more U.S. Open tournaments through 2050.

No Excuse ‘They’re running scared!’ Anthony Joshua – Dillian Whyte picked Moses Itauma despite Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker offers

Dillian Whyte has revealed that he was offered rematches with Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker but embraced the ‘risk’ of a Moses Itauma fight.

The former WBC interim champion has agreed to face red-hot heavyweight prospect Itauma in Saudi Arabia on August 16.

But Whyte has admitted that he also discussed potential fights against long-term British rival Joshua and New Zealander Parker.

“You know what, I got offered three names, AJ, Parker and Moses Itauma,” Whyte exclusively told Sky Sports.

“These guys were messing about, Parker was being greedy, they didn’t want to be realistic on the split. AJ wasn’t ready, obviously they’re trying to keep their options open, I’m options for no one.

“I think Moses Itauma, no one wants to fight him. My whole career has been, I’ve always taken the fights that no one wanted to take and nothing’s changed now. It’s an opportunity, it’s a great opportunity. Win this fight, I’m right back like I never left.

“Everyone’s scared of him, all these other supposed hard man heavyweights who pride themselves on being hard fighting anyone, they’re running scared from fighting this guy.

We’re in the business to fight, we’re in the business to entertain, we’re in the business to give the fans a good fight.”

Joshua, who has not fought since a knockout loss to Daniel Dubois last September, has required surgery on a troublesome elbow.

Parker, whose promoters offered no comment in response to Whyte’s claims when contacted by Sky Sports News, is yet to announce his next fight after a stoppage win over Martin Bakole in February.

“I would have loved to fight AJ again because he’s the only one in that list that beat me before,” said Whyte.

“I’ve beaten him once [in the amateur ranks], he’s beaten me once, I’d love to fight him again. But AJ, his injuries and his surgery and stuff, they didn’t know if he was going to be ready.

“He wasn’t going to be ready, so I was like: ‘Okay, I’m not going to wait around.’

“The Joseph Parker fight, it’s Parker being greedy. When I fought him years ago, he was kind of on a losing streak.

“I gave him a certain split, I was fair and I was just. And then he’s being greedy.

“And I was like: ‘Do you want to fight someone who’s actually beaten you or are you just in it for the money?’ And clearly, he’s just in it for the money.

Anthony joshua

‘So I said: ‘Okay, all right, no worries.

“Then with Moses, I was like: ‘Hell yeah, I’ll definitely take the fight.’

Asked if he could still face Joshua again in the future, Whyte said: “I don’t know and I don’t really care to be honest. I’m not 27, I haven’t got time to be sitting around waiting for these guys.

“I’ve always known to fight the best fighters in my era, and everyone’s raving about Moses Itauma, saying he’s the best fighter since Mike Tyson.

Can’t Be Him But I Will Comeback For One Man But It’s Not Anthony Joshua – Tyson Fury Announces

Tyson Fury announced an abrupt retirement from boxing back in January. It came following two fights against Oleksandr Usyk in 2024, where ‘The Gypsy King’ came up short in both of them. The first was in May of that year, where Fury lost his WBC heavyweight title as Usyk won by split decision to become undisputed heavyweight champion.

They then met again in December, with Usyk winning by unanimous decision on this occasion, the only two times in Fury’s career where he has tasted defeat.

It was expected that the Morecambe man would then head into a domestic showdown with Anthony Joshua before Fury’s decision to hang up his gloves brought those plans to an end.

There has been constant speculation that ‘The Gypsy King’ will return for the fight, however he has now revealed in a media scrum that the only fight he would motivate him to comeback is a trilogy against Usyk.

“If I was going to come back I’d come back for Usyk. In England. That’s the one I want immediately, that would be the fight I want next. In England for sure.”

Tyson fury

Fury also explained how he still disagrees with the outcome of the fight with Usyk in December.

“My last fight was a clear f**king victory for The Gypsy King. Anybody in boxing can see that. A complete load of dogs**t.

“I want a fair fight, I don’t want any favours, I want a fair fight and a fair result. Which I know I didn’t [get]. I thought I won it by five rounds. I watched it 250 times. Each way I never see it as a way for him to win. They can do what they want. If they say it’s Tueaday it’s Tuesday.”

Usyk returns later this month when he defends his titles against IBF champion Daniel Dubois, with a third bout against Fury looking unlikely for now. However, the Ukrainian has said he would be open to the trilogy.

Rematch: Tyson Fury theory emerges as Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois rematch revenge prediction made

Spencer Oliver believes Daniel Dubois will beat Oleksandr Usyk because of the champion’s gruelling bouts with Tyson Fury.

Dubois first faced Usyk in a controversial clash in 2023 where he dropped the Ukrainian with a low blow, but was subsequently stopped.

Since then, the Briton has been on a hot streak and has earned a rematch on July 19 at Wembley Stadium with the undisputed world titles on the line.

Usyk since then has beaten fellow divisional top dog Tyson Fury twice in two 12-round slug fests, and is an overwhelming favourite to beat Dubois once again.

But talkSPORT boxing expert and former European champion Oliver expects Usyk to have lost an edge following his tussles with Fury.

He explained on the latest episode of talkBOXING: “Daniel Dubois beats Oleksandr Usyk.

“I know Daniel Dubois, I have seen him work and know what they are working on tactically.

“They seemed quite far apart in 2023, Usyk was leagues apart from Dubois then.

“But he [Usyk] has not got much better since fighting Dubois, there is a lot of miles on the clock since then.

“The two fights with Fury have put miles on the clock with Usyk, but Dubois has improved dramatically physically and mentally since then.

“This is a completely different fight since the first one, I’m tipping Dubois.”

Dubois has three impressive victories since his defeat to Usyk, which began by beating Filip Hrgovic and Jarrell Miller.

And in a career-best display, ‘Dynamite’ beat Anthony Joshua with an emphatic KO in September 2024 to galvanise his career.

A world champion and brimming with confidence, Dubois knows what it takes on the big stage and is fuelled by anguish from their previous controversy.

But Usyk is unbeaten and has dismantled a whole resume filled with top talent and gifted operators.

“I’ve changed. I’ve learn from that,” Dubois told talkSPORT.com.

“There were a lot of things going into that fight. I’ve learnt from it now. I’m going to put it right.

“There’s been a lot of pain from what happened last time. So I want to get my revenge.

“I’m nailing him to the canvas this time.

“When I close my eyes, I see a spectacular win, a spectacular knockout.”

Terence Crawford gives Conor Benn bluntly honest advice ahead of confirmed rematch with Chris Eubank Jr.

Terence Crawford: Conor Benn will get the opportunity to get revenge on bitter rival Chris Eubank Jr. when the British fighters meet in a rematch.

Benn and Eubank Jr. have been confirmed to fight for a second time in London on September 20th, as the rivals will once again compete in a middleweight bout.

In footage captured by Boxing News, Crawford and Benn had an interaction with one another, where they discussed the upcoming rematch with Eubank Jr.

The start of the video shows Crawford telling Benn, “That’s what was ——- you up, pulling out.” The British fighter responded by saying, “There’s a few adjustments to be made and we’ll just work on it.”

‘Bud’ then told the now 23-1 star that he needs to improve his fitness for the second fight. “Get in more shape. You got a little tired [in the first fight]. You hurt him, you were just too tired to [finish him], you know?”

Benn’s response was, “There’s a few things that we need to work on, and get it sorted.”

The footage ended with Crawford reiterating to Benn, “You’ve got to stop pulling out.”

Although it has been confirmed that the British rivals will compete in London, an exact venue has not yet been announced.

Although Eubank Jr. feels as if he has an advantage going into the rematch, Benn will aim to get his family their first win in four meetings against the Eubanks.

Former undisputed world champion Terence Crawford has told Benn what needs to be done for him to get the victory in the rematch.

It was originally stated after their first meeting that Eubank Jr. and Benn would once again compete at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. However, their rematch may take place elsewhere.

Wembley Stadium has been mentioned as a potential venue for the British dust-up to follow in the footsteps of Carl Froch and George Groves’ epic rematch.

Immense pressure: Tiger Woods’ ‘relentless mindset’ revealed by ex-caddie, putting team under – immense pressure

Tiger Woods: In a recent episode of the ‘The Yardage Book Podcast’, long-time caddie of legen Tiger Woods, Steve Williams, shared details from his memoir ‘Together We Roared, describing the intense standards Woods demanded. Even after record-setting wins, the 15-time major championships winner still strived hard to win some more. It is well known that in sports, and in life, reaching success is hard, but maintaining that success is even harder.

Just like in intense battles with Phil Mickelson, Woods had a trait that added tremendous pressure on those around him. His relentless aproach, marked by incredible focus and concentration during preparation and game-time, defined one of golf’s greatest eras. Steve Williams tells us a little bit about the ‘secret sauce’ behind it and the significant cost to those who shared the path to victory.

Steve Williams, a New Zealander, joined Tiger in 1999 and was by his side for the next 11 years. He was part of the memorable ‘Tiger Slam’, which saw Woods hold all four majors simultaneously in 2000-01. The thing that made this partnership so successful wasn?t Tiger’s perfect swing, it was his never staisfied persona, his unrelenting drive for constant improvement.

Charlie Woods

“One of the most unusual things about Tiger…he didn’t celebrate. It was always on the next thing, on to the next major”, explained Williams. Taking us to Woods’ historic 15-stroke victory at the 2000 U.S. Open at Pebble BeachWilliams vividly described the immediate aftermath of an event celebrated by many, except by Tiger. “The next thing he says (after winning the major championship) is, ‘Steve, I’m going to play even better in St. Andrews (home of ‘The Open’ major). You go get your ass over there and get to know every blade of grass on that course.”

This obsessive mindset propelled Woods to an even more dominant win at the mentioned 2000 Open Championship: finishing nine strokes clear while avoiding a single bunker. Williams even described that four-round showing as “his best 72-hole performance” in their 12-year run together.

Woods placed immense pressure on Williams

Charlie Woods

“The pressure of working for someone like that was immense”, recalled Woods’ ex-caddie. Williams elaborated on his own laborious preparation: crafting exhaustive yardage books, compiling statistics, and analyzing course nuances. Eventually the toll on both men’s relationship became clear. After their split in 2011, due to a sudden firing over the phone, both reflected on the highs and exhaustion brought on by their laureated partnership.
