“Unbelievable! Tiger Woods Exposed for Having a Ryder Cup Record Far Beyond Anything Fans Thought—And It’s Even Worse”

Tiger Woods’ days of playing at the Ryder Cup are surely over. And looking back at one of the greatest golfers ever, it’s shocking to see how poorly he performed when he suited up for Team USA.

It’s a mixed bag when you really break it down, but it’s not the dominance Woods showed so often on the PGA Tour.

Here’s a look back at how Woods played at the Ryder Cup:

What is Tiger Woods’ Ryder Cup record?

In his Ryder Cup career, Tiger Woods took part in 37 matches. He had 13 wins, 21 losses and 3 ties, for a mark of 13-21-3.

That adds up to 14.5 total points earned by Woods, which ranks fourth on Team USA’s all-time list.

In the eight Ryder Cups that Woods was a part of, Team USA only won one.

There are some key caveats here. Woods was good in singles play but not in the partnership formats.

In foursomes, Woods was 4-9-1.

In four-ball, Woods was 5-10-0.

But when Woods got to singles play, he had four wins, two ties and two losses.

Charlie Woods

Woods played his most partnership matches with Steve Stricker. They were 2-4 together.

With Jim Furyk, Tiger was 2-2.

Woods had a winning mark with Davis Love III (2-1) and with Chris Riley (1-0).

Tiger played twice with Phil Mickelson. They lost both of those matches.

As far as opponents, Woods was crushed by Lee Westwood, who held a 7-1 edge in eight matches against Woods.

Woods had a 3-2 career mark against Padraig Harrington, a 2-1 mark against Ian Poulter and a 2-0 mark against Miguel Angel Jimenez.

Overall, not what you would’ve expected from Tiger Woods.

“Tiger’s Son Charlie Woods Is One Step Away From Making Junior Ryder Cup History!”

Charlie Woods is in a strong position to earn a spot on the US Junior Ryder Cup team as he enters the final round of the Junior PGA Championships in West Lafayette, Indiana.

The 16-year-old son of Tiger Woods is tied for second place at 12-under-par 202 after shooting a 5-under 66 at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex’s Ackerman-Allen Course on Thursday.

Lunden Esterline is the runaway leader at 19 under after also carding a third- round 66.

Woods is tied with Pennson Badgett, who produced a 67 on Thursday.

The players are vying for two automatic spots on the Junior Ryder Cup team, which will go to the top two finishers this week. There is also one captain’s pick, although Woods is likely not in line to be selected for it.

Badgett, from Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, is a 2026 Tennessee commit.

Ayden Fynaut of Fresno, California; Tyler Mawhinney of Fleming Island, Florida; and Zenghao Hou of China are tied for fourth place at 11 under. Sam Carraher of Crown Point, Indiana, sits alone in seventh at 10 under.

Congratulation: Tiger Woods Beams with Joy as Daughter Sam Secures High School Soccer Championship Crown

Tiger Woods appears to have passed his sporty gene onto his daughter, Sam. Tiger, 49, was spotted in the crowd on Saturday, Mar. 1, watching his daughter’s soccer team, the Buccaneers, grab victory over Episcopal School in the FHSAA Class 2A state final at Spec Martin Municipal Stadium in DeLand, Florida

Sam, 17, a senior at the Benjamin School, helped her team secure victory, much to her dad’s obvious delight. Per footage shared by the Palm Beach Post, the golfing legend was seen alongside other proud parents in the bleachers wearing a white baseball cap and an FHSAA girls’ soccer state championships T-shirt, cheering while high fiving the teams’ success.

The Buccaneers defense — led by Sam and fellow senior Emily Simon — was key to the team’s championship run success.

Benjamin head coach Hilary Carney said, per the New York Post, “It was really the stalwart defense leading the way with Emily being in goal and Sam being that senior in the back just settling everything.”

Tiger shares Sam and son Charlie with his ex-wife Elin Nordegren.

Back in 2018, Tiger told Golf.com that though Sam was happy to join him at golfing tournaments, soccer was the firm favorite for her and her brother. “They’re keen into soccer,” he said. “If they want to play golf, that’s great. If they don’t, that’s fine, too. As long as they have a good time playing sports.”

Tiger Woods

He went on to share that he enjoyed playing the team sport with his children and had “a lot of fun” being able to “pass the ball around with them.”

“I get such a big kick out of watching them compete and play,” Tiger said. “It’s so much fun to see how happy and passionate they are about soccer.”

While son Charlie has changed course and is now following in his dad’s footsteps with golf, Sam — who will be following in her father’s footsteps to Stanford University in the fall, per the New York Post — is still committed to soccer.

“Sam Woods Steals the Spotlight in Bold Red Converse as She Cheers on Dad Tiger and Brother Charlie at the PNC Championship”

It was a family affair for Tiger Woods, who played in the PNC Championship at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando on Sunday.

For the occasion, Woods appeared alongside his children, Sam Alexis and Charlie Alex, both of whom were dressed in sporty shoes to comfortably take on the golf course. Woods’ daughter, Sam, chose a pair of pink Converse high top sneakers that were sporty and chic.

Crafted with canvas material in the upper and a durable rubber outsole, the shoes were adorned with white laces and completed the incorporation of medial eyelets for breathability.

While Sam opted for the red platform Converse high tops, aka Chuck Taylor’s, which come in over 15 different shades, giving you plenty to choose from. The current asking price for a pair is $75. Keeping her outfit simple and athletic, she wore a pair of dark blue navy leggings and a white long sleeve top.

At the PNC Championship, where golf’s most iconic father-son duos gather to compete in a unique mix of competition and family bonding, one unexpected figure managed to captivate the crowd without swinging a single club—Sam Alexis Woods, the eldest daughter of Tiger Woods.

While much of the spotlight naturally fell on Tiger and his 16-year-old son Charlie, who has been carving out a reputation as one of golf’s brightest young prodigies, it was Sam who drew double-takes from fans and cameras alike. Sporting a pair of bold red Converse sneakers, Sam stood tall in support of her father and younger brother, exuding a blend of youthful style and quiet confidence that instantly resonated with the audience.

Tiger woods

Sam Woods has traditionally kept a low profile, especially compared to Charlie, who has been in the competitive golf limelight from an early age. But her presence at the PNC Championship reminded fans that while Charlie might be the budding golfer, Sam represents the grounding force of the Woods family. Dressed casually yet strikingly, her sneakers became a talking point across social media, with fans praising her effortless style and down-to-earth presence amid a sea of golf polos and cleats.

For Tiger Woods, the PNC Championship has always been about more than just competition—it’s about sharing the game he loves with his children. Seeing Sam on the sidelines cheering for both her father and Charlie underscored the family-first spirit that defines the event. Observers noted how Tiger frequently glanced toward the gallery, where Sam stood smiling, offering support that was as unshakable as it was stylish.

“Sam has always been the quiet strength in Tiger’s family,” remarked one fan at the event. “Seeing her out here in such a fun and fearless look—it just shows her personality shining through.”

Of course, longtime Tiger Woods fans couldn’t help but draw a connection between Sam’s red sneakers and her father’s trademark tradition of wearing red on Sundays. For decades, Tiger has donned the color as a symbol of power, intensity, and finishing strong. Sam’s choice of footwear felt like an unspoken nod to that legacy—a subtle yet powerful message that she too carries the Woods spirit of boldness and resilience.

Spotlight Shared

While Charlie Woods displayed flashes of his father’s brilliance on the course, Sam’s presence brought balance and warmth to the narrative. It was a reminder that behind the fairways, birdies, and pressure of expectations lies a family story—one of unity, support, and the quiet but undeniable bond of siblings cheering each other on.

Unsurprisingly, pictures of Sam in her Converse went viral within hours. Fans across platforms praised her authenticity, with one post reading: “Sam Woods showing up in red Converse >>> That’s the kind of effortless cool you can’t coach.” Others highlighted the symbolic family unity: “Tiger wears red. Charlie carries the torch. Sam rocks red Converse. The Woods legacy runs deeper than golf.”

A Star in Her Own Right

Though Sam may not be chasing trophies like her father or younger brother, moments like these prove she doesn’t need a club in hand to command attention. With her natural poise and style, she showed the world that sometimes the most impactful presence at a sporting event isn’t found inside the ropes but cheering from outside them.

As the tournament wrapped and Tiger and Charlie took their bows, Sam’s bold footwear choice had already cemented itself as one of the standout images of the event. More than just a fashion statement, it symbolized strength, family unity, and a reminder that the Woods family’s legacy is written not only on the scorecard but in every moment they share together.

Major Winner Stirs Debate: Scottie Scheffler Holds the Edge Over Tiger Woods in One Defining Area

Scottie Scheffler has established himself as one of the all-time greats in the game in 2025, bringing himself one major away from the career grand slam.

Comparisons between Scheffler and Woods have been repeatedly dismissed by the world number one, even after his astounding season. He won two majors to bring himself a U.S. Open away from the career grand slam, and no one has come close to matching his leve

Scottie Scheffler’s consistency from week to week allows him to be in contention at nearly every event. Even if he doesn’t win, he’s lurking. 1997 Open Championship winner Justin Leonard explained the key to his success is something that he is better at than anyone else in the history of the sport

Justin Leonard reveals what Scottie Scheffler does better than anyone in history

What is fascinating about Scheffler is his unconventional swing. The “Scottie Shuffle” sees the four-time major winner roll onto his left ankle during his follow-through, leaving fans to wonder how he is able to hit the ball with such remarkable consistency when sliding his feet.

Charlie Woods

Leonard says that Scheffler has such a natural connection with his hand position that he is able to control his swing, and the shuffle is a by-product of how well he moves his hips through impact.

Speaking on The Favorite Chamblee podcast, he explained, “Scottie has maybe the best instincts for connecting his brain with his hands of anyone I’ve ever seen.

“You look at the footwork, and it can be distracting, but he does so many good things through impact. That clubface is so square for so long because of the way he moves his hips and lowers his body.

“It’s like it could never get very far off. And it hasn’t for four years now.”

Beneath the Fame: Tiger Woods’ Daughter Sam Alexis Reveals the Hidden Weight of a Legendary Legacy

Tiger Woods, the most famous name in the golf scene, has had a life full of ups and downs, especially in his private life. The scandals in which he found himself deepened the crisis for this famous golfer, and the divorce from Elin Nordegren was a particularly difficult moment for him.

However, some believe that the greatest consequences were felt by his children, who had to grow up without two important figures together. In addition to everything, the death of Kultida Woods, Tiger’s mother, left a mark on everyone, and it seems especially on his daughter Sam Alexis Woods, who was most connected to her grandmother.

As a result of the scandal in which he found himself almost 15 years ago, Tiger Woods expressed his frustration with the behavior of the media and journalists who followed his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter to school, reporting on the location. Alexis Woods certainly had a clearer picture of everything that happened growing up, but as a two-and-a-half-year-old girl, she could not understand the entire chaos that was happening around her.

All this had a huge impact on her.

Tiger has pointed out many times so far that he is guilty of the affairs he had. They were also the main reason for his divorce.

Charlie Woods

In addition to the fact that Sam had to grow up in such a way, Tiger’s work and absence also left consequences, considering that the popular golfer had a full calendar, and was mostly away from home. This is the reason why she in some way created an aversion to golf, which was later admitted by Tiger.

However, it does not end there: the 48-year-old golfer almost lost his life in a traffic accident in LA when Sam was 13 years old. As a teenager, and not a two-year-old child, she could understand more clearly what happened, and probably such a moment was the biggest trauma for her.

Things like this show that the lives of children of celebrities are not always filled with positive things, but that every life carries various trials and struggles.

Donald Trump’s Granddaughter Amasses a Fortune Surpassing His — The Stunning Reason Behind Her Skyrocketing Wealth

Say what you will about the Trump family, but “routine” is not in their vocabulary. The White House can now add another surreal milestone to its résumé: Kai Trump, the eldest granddaughter of arguably the world’s most talked-about dynasty, second only to the Kardashians, is just 18 and already giving her grandfather, yes, President Donald Trump himself, a lesson in modern-day wealth management.

Once upon a time, the path to millions ran through oil fields or casinos. For Gen Z, it starts with a TikTok feed, an energy drink sponsorship deal, and a perfectly curated look featuring a golf club in hand.

Kai is more than just “Trump’s granddaughter.” She’s a financial outlier in a family where money is hardly scarce. Her father, Donald Trump Jr., is a media strategist and a contender in the family’s unofficial scandal competition. Her mother, Vanessa, a former model and high-society fixture, has been in a high-profile relationship with golf legend and scandal magnet Tiger Woods since her 2018 divorce from Trump Jr.

So what does life look like when you’re a social media star pulling in five times the salary of the US president? In case you missed it, Grandpa Donald earns about $400,000 a year as president, a modest sum compared to the $2.5 million Kai rakes in annually. Her income stems from a combination of her rising career as a professional golfer, her wildly successful social media presence with partnerships including TaylorMade Golf and sports drinks, and a $16 million family trust fund sitting pretty at JPMorgan.

The secret to it all? The NIL law – short for Name, Image, Likeness – which has transformed any young person with millions of followers into an endless marketing machine.

Despite out-earning her grandfather by a wide margin, Kai still knows how to show him respect when it counts. Her speech at the 2024 Republican National Convention, which followed the attempted assassination of Trump, went viral. She took the stage to recall how her grandfather “hands out candy and asks about grades.”

Since then, she’s become a full-fledged influencer, amassing millions of followers and leveraging them into commercial deals worth tens of millions of dollars. Along the way, she also starred in a viral video where she appeared to be working at Starbucks and celebrated her 18th birthday with friends, footage that drew sharp backlash online for portraying her as a privileged teen out of touch with the harsh realities around her.

Three PGA Tour Rules Rocked by LIV Influence, But Tiger Woods’ Bold Demand Crosses the Line

From billion-dollar investments to overhauled pace-of-play policies, the PGA Tour continues to modernize in 2025 under Jay Monahan’s vision, following decades of following rich traditions and pressure to change due to the disruption caused by the Saudi-backed tour LIV Golf.

When golf fans picture the PGA Tour, they think of prestige and stars like Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, and Jack Nicklaus in collared shirts, creased slacks, and hats. But 2025 has blown the doors off tradition with things like Signature Events, new equity models, and strict pace-of-play rules, all designed in response to LIV’s modernized changes.

Yet a straightforward request from Tiger Woods has remained ignored for decades, as PGA players still can’t wear shorts. The man referred to as the GOAT by many, although he has his own choice for the greatest player ever, has won 82 PGA Tour events and 15 major tournaments, and he has done all this in long pants while wishing his “chicken legs” could breathe.

“A lot of the tournaments are based right around the equator, so we play in some of the hottest places on the planet. It would be nice to wear shorts. Even with my little chicken legs, I still would like to wear shorts.”

Sam Alexis Woods

As the game continues to evolve, the world’s best players are scattered across multiple tours, and golf is seeing more diversity than ever; the tour continues to see its advancement.

PGA Tour Pace of Play rules

The PGA Tour’s newest pace-of-play policy was updated in March at the request of several top stars. It limits players to 40 seconds per shot. For players who aren’t granted the additional 10 seconds for special occasions, there is now a one-stroke penalty for the first offense, two for the next, and so on.

LIV has this rule on the tour and saw its first penalty occur during the LIV Golf Andalucia at Valderrama when Richard Bland took 84 seconds to play a shot on hole 15. The veteran shot a bogey on the hole, which was upgraded to a double bogey.

PGA Tour introduced Signature Events

In 2024, the PGA launched its “Signature Events” initiative, rebranding the “Designated Events” format from 2023.

The 2025 calendar now features eight high-stakes tournaments, including The Sentry, Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Genesis Invitational, Arnold Palmer Invitational, RBC Heritage, Truist Championship, and The Memorial Tournament.

Charlie Woods

These events feature higher prize money ($20 million) than the regular tournament competitions outside of majors and see a smaller field of players compete for a larger prize.

Each LIV tournament already has a purse of $20 million, and winners take home $4 million of the pot.

PGA Tour Player Equity

One of the most groundbreaking moves saw the PGA Tour extend ownership equity to nearly 200 members for the first time. On Jan. 31, 2024, a $3 billion partnership with Strategic Sports Group officially gave players a piece of the pie.

Woods and Tour Player Directors Patrick Cantlay, Peter Malnati, Adam Scott, Webb Simpson, and Jordan Spieth helped finalize the deal, ensuring pros had a stake in the product they built.

Woods has competed in soccer and track and field for the Benjamin School Buccaneers.

In news interviews, she mentioned avoiding a professional career in golf because as a child, the tournaments meant long absences away from her father.

Where is Sam Woods going to college?

She has plans to follow in her father’s footsteps and attend Stanford University after graduation. According to reports, Sam is going for academics instead of athletics, with an interest in pursuing psychology or biology.

“This season is definitely bittersweet because I’ve been playing with these girls since forever,” she told the Palm Beach Post earlier this year. “It’s going to be really hard hanging up my cleats for the last time.”
