“I’m Coming for Them!” – Tyson Fury Vows Destruction of Joshua and Usyk in Shocking Return

Tyson Fury has set his sights on revenge against Oleksandr Usyk or an all-British showdown with Anthony Joshua after confirming he will make his return to boxing in 2026.

It comes as Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, took to social media on Wednesday to reveal Fury had informed him he will make his comeback next year after stepping away from the sport.

Fury announced he had retired from boxing in January earlier this year, one month on from his unanimous decision defeat to Usyk in the pair’s heavyweight rematch.

The 36-year-old has since teased a return by posting footage of him back in the gym alongside trainer SugarHill Steward.

“Who would I rather fight right now? Usyk. I want my revenge in England, that’s all I want,” Fury told Boxing News while in attendance at the IBA Pro Event in Istanbul.

“I want my fair shout, and I don’t believe I’ve got a fair shout the last two times. I don’t know what I’m going to have to do, because I can’t let it go to a decision.

“That’s the one I want, but if I don’t get that then it will be (Anthony) Joshua, the biggest British boxing fight that will ever happen.

Usyk is currently gearing up to face IBF heavyweight world champion Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on July 19, with Fury seemingly uninterested in a prospective meeting with the Londoner.

“If I did come back, hypothetically speaking, if I was to return and box Daniel Dubois, he wouldn’t land a glove on me, it would be a one-sided beat-down,” he added.

“I wish him luck in his fight against Usyk, but styles make fights and his style and my style don’t gel. I would annihilate him.

Alalshikh paved the way for another familiar period of hope and speculation over what might lie in store for Fury next as he confirmed the Gypsy King’s pending return on X.

“The ‘Gypsy King’ will be back!!! I talked with him, and I have his word to have him in Riyadh Season in 2026. We have a rabbit to hunt!” Alalshikh wrote.

“Don’t Count Him Out”: Bradley Tips Pacquiao for Stunning Win Over Gervonta Davis

The 30-year-old WBA lightweight champion last boxed on March 1 against former amateur foe Lamont Roach and things didn’t go to plan that night at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, as the unbeaten titleholder’s record was smeared with a contentious majority decision draw.
Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs) revealed that retirement was a real possibility in the build-up to that title defence and while a rematch was tentatively slated for Aug. 16, things have taken a darker turn for “Tank” in the four months since their 12-round encounter.
On July 11, the three-division world champion was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida and now faces a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from a dispute with a former girlfriend. His court date is set for today.
As the Baltimore native’s world continues to swirl and uncertainty surrounds his future, recent Hall of Fame inductee Manny Pacquiao lurks in the background.

The 46-year-old ended a near four-year retirement earlier this month when taking on WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios, settling for a similarly debatable majority decision draw at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand.

Although an immediate rematch makes sense to secure clarity, Pacquiao (62-8-3, 39 KOs) has mentioned Davis’ name quite a bit recently. Physically, the current 135-pound champion would have an overwhelming edge – much younger, fresher and without wars the Filipino legend is known for. According to Tim Bradley though, it’s more nuanced than that.
“If he gets in that ring and he’s not all the way focused, he’s gonna get beat by Manny Pacquiao,” Bradley told The Ring.

Davis isn’t the only name Pacquiao has mentioned either, having floated the likes of Rolando “Rolly” Romero and a potential rematch with longtime rival Floyd Mayweather.
Gervonta davis
Bradley didn’t comment on whether or not the welterweight contender could beat those two, but with regards to Davis, the former two-division champion – who himself had a three-fight series with Pacquiao – has a strong feeling his former foe would be able to pull it off.
“I’m telling you, I know people are gonna think I’m crazy, but that 46-year-old can still fight,” Bradley continued. “Davis would have to be really focused in order to beat him. If that happens, and he’s not locked in, it can be a bad night for Tank.”

Ex-Champion Tim Bradley Raises Serious Concerns About Gervonta Davis’ Career

Manny Pacquiao is keen to fight Gervonta Davis following his majority draw against Mario Barrios.

Gervonta Davis, however, has been tangled in legal trouble. He was arrested on July 11 on domestic violence charges against his ex-girlfriend. And while he has since been released, Davis’ proposed August 16 rematch against Lamont Roach looks unlikely to take place on that date.

Pacquiao, meanwhile, showed that he still has some fight left in him during the Barrios clash. And now, a former world champion has claimed that ‘Tank’ Davis is no longer mentally there as a fighter and Pacquiao would beat him if the fight actually took place.

World champion warns Gervonta Davis about Manny Pacquiao fight

Speaking to Fight Hub TV, former WBC junior welterweight champion Tim Bradley believes Gervonta Davis is “done” and has “checked out mentally.” He also warns if ‘Tank’ doesn’t focus on fighting, he’ll get beat by Pacquiao.

‘Tank’ is done. ‘Tank’ is, hung them up, shoes off, get the bag, put a plaque up, he is done. ‘Tank’ has checked out mentally. ‘Tank’ is looking for the big bag of Jake Paul, Pacquiao.

He added, “He’s not gonna fight Shakur Stevenson at all. I don’t care how much money Turki offered, get him four Lamborghinis, ‘Tank’ ain’t taking that fight.”

He continued, “If he gets in that ring and he isn’t focus all the way in the head, he’s gonna get beat by Manny Pacquiao. He would get beat by Manny Pacquiao if he ain’t all the way focused in the ring.”

30-0-1 (28 KOs) Gervonta Davis is one of the biggest superstars in boxing and is must watch TV whenever he’s in action. However, he’s also often involved in out of the ring controversies.

Davis has been in talks to fight Jake Paul for a while, and with Pacquiao’s return, that has emerged as a new option. The real clash that fans want to see, however, is Davis vs Stevenson. Of course, everyone also wants to see how a Lamont Roach rematch would play out as well.

Carlos Alcaraz Blames Lack of Clarity for Wimbledon Final Loss: ‘I Wasn’t Sure What to Do’

Carlos Alcaraz admits there were moments he “didn’t know what to do” in the face of Jannik Sinner’s brilliant play during their final at Wimbledon on Sunday.

Second seed Alcaraz, chasing a third consecutive title in SW19, missed out on a sixth Grand Slam after losing in four sets to fierce rival and world No 1 Sinner.

Alcaraz took the first set on Centre Court but the Italian came storming back to claim his first title at the All England Club.

Alcaraz only landed 53% of his first serves, compared to 62% for Sinner, and the Spaniard acknowledged that Sinner’s level was consistently better throughout their three-hour battle, particularly regarding how both returned each other’s second serve.

“It was all about him pushing me to the limit in every point,” Alcaraz said. “Mentally, it’s really tough to maintain. When you see the opponent playing such good tennis, I didn’t know what to do.

carlos alcaraz

“From the baseline, he was better than me. The big key was the second serves, he was returning really well, then he was in a position to attack with the second ball. It’s difficult when you’re defending all the time.”

“I just gave him a lot of free points when he had a second serve. He has a big first serve, but when you have the chance to return the second serve, I had to do more with those points.

“He was serving quite easily, winning his service games quite easily. I had to better on that, but it was a great match, I think the level was really high.”

Despite his French Open final heartbreak, Sinner bounced back in impressive fashion on the grass to claim his first non-hard-court Grand Slam. Alcaraz, however, insists he was not surprised that the Italian responded so well.

“He didn’t surprise me at all because I know he’s a really nice player and a huge champion,” he said.

“Champions learn from the losses. I knew at the beginning that he was going to learn from that final, not going to make the same mistakes as he did in the French Open final.

“The way he played today, it was really, really high. I knew he was going to play like this. Overall, he didn’t surprise me at all because I know he’s a big champion.”

Montreal Drama Unfolds on Day 3: Gauff vs Collins Could Shake Up the Draw

Day 3 at the WTA 1000 event in Montreal will see the seeds make their debut, which should significantly increase the quality of the matches from what we have seen in the past two days. Day 3 is sure to feature a lot of high quality tennis and almost certainly some upsets as there are plenty of unseeded players capable of beating their seeded counterparts. We have predictions for every day 3 match at WTA Montreal.

WTA Montreal Day 3 Predictions

Maya Joint vs Leylah Fernandez

Head-to-head: Fernandez 1-0 Joint

The pair faced last week in the first round of Washington and Fernandez prevailed in relatively routine fashion en route to winning the biggest title of her career so far. The question here is whether she will be able to maintain that level or have a letdown after her Washington exploits; if she plays anywhere close to the level she showed last week, she should advance here, even if it might be a tougher than their Washington first round.

Prediction: Fernandez in 3

Anna Blinkova vs Daria Kasatkina

Head-to-head: Kasatkina 1-0 Blinkova

Coco gauff

Their one previous meeting came at this venue back in 2023 and Kasatkina won it with relative ease. Two years later, she remains the clearly better, more solid and consistent player of the two and under normal circumstances should score a relatively straightforward win yet again, especially considering how Blinkova has been going through a rough patch lately, her first round win here notwithstanding.

Prediction: Kasatkina in 2

Coco Gauff vs Danielle Collins

Gauff hasn’t won a single match since her Roland Garros title, but she was never expected to be much of a factor on grass. Back on a hard court, Gauff is once again one of the main contenders for big titles, especially the US Open, and she will likely be very tough to beat. Collins has the tennis to do it if she plays her best, but she rarely does and Gauff is the far more consistent and reliable player of the two.

Djokovic may be the greatest, says Raducanu – but Federer remains her viewing favorite

Emma Raducanu has shared her thoughts on the big debate in tennis: who is the greatest of all time – Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer?

In a 2024 interview, Raducanu said she believes Djokovic is the tennis ‘GOAT’ (Greatest of All Time), but she enjoys watching Federer the most.

Raducanu is currently playing very well. She reached the semi-finals in both singles and doubles at the Washington Open and is now preparing for the Canadian Open. With this strong form, she could earn a seeded spot for the US Open.

Anthony Joshua Eyeing Comeback Against Olympic Gold Medalist: “A Real Possibility on the Table”

Anthony Joshua is plotting his ring return after almost a year out. Joshua was stopped in devastating fashion last time out back in September as he attempted to become a three-time world heavyweight champion. But it was Daniel Dubois who had his hand raised, and since then Joshua has been out recovering from minor elbow surgery.

Before the Dubois loss, ‘AJ’ had been in good form with KO wins over Otto Wallin, Robert Helenius and Francis Ngannou, so he will be looking to recapture that form as he makes one final run at world honours.

He has been linked with the likes of Jake Paul and Deontay Wilder, while many still hope Tyson Fury will come out of retirement for what would be a huge all-British showdown.

Speaking to talkSPORT Boxing in the meantime, former European champion Spencer Oliver was asked what he made of the rumours regarding Joshua having a potential bout with former Olympic gold medalist Tony Yoka.

Anthony joshua

“I think that is a great possibility. We get two Olympic gold medalists going at it. Tony Yoka is trying to rekindle his career. He went through a bad patch losing to the likes of Carlos Takam. He’s won his last three now. He last boxed in May. He’s very much on a rebuild as is AJ, doesn’t it makes sense, two Olympic medalist going at it. It would be a great fight, a sellable fight, and I’d love to see it.”

33-year-old Yoka is a French heavyweight boxer who won gold in the 2016 games and turned professional in 2017. Despite early promise and wins over Dave Allen, Christian Hammer and Johann Duhapas, he was derailed with a a trio of back-to-back defeats against Martin Bakole, Takam and Ryad Merhy, but has now won his last three, so could represent a good opponent for Joshua. Interestingly, Yoka was recently training with Dubois’ coach, Don Charles.

Anthony Joshua Sends Fans Into Frenzy: “2025 Might Be the Last Time You See Me Fight”

British boxer, Anthony Joshua, has dropped a big hint that 2025 could be his last year in the sport.

Anthony Joshua’s last fight came in September 2024, when he was knocked out by Daniel Dubois last September in the fifth round.

The 35-year-old, who made his professional debut in 2013, is expected to fight again later this year.

During an interview on the Ariel Helwani Show, Joshua claimed his “last punch” will be thrown this year.

Joshua was paying tribute to his promoters, MatchRoom Boxing, who has managed him all his career.

He said: “Long may you reign supreme and keep giving fighters opportunities to become champions and make boxing great.

“12 years ago, I signed with you and 12 years later I will throw my last punch with you.”
