Charlie Woods enters golf tournament at venue where his father, Tiger Woods, claimed victory twice.

Like his father, Charlie Woods is making headlines for playing golf. So much so that fans are wondering when he’ll play next.

Tiger Woods’ son − and his famous classmate − recently competed in one of South Florida’s top junior golf tournaments. On June 24, Charlie Woods and Kai Trump, the eldest grandchild of President Donald Trump, played the second and final round of the 41st Nicklaus Junior Championship at Tequesta Country Club.

Named after golf’s most decorated major champion, the Nicklaus Junior is an annual tournament organized by the South Florida PGA and the Palm Beach County Golf Association. The two-day competition was split between the Bear’s Club in Jupiter and the Tequesta Country Club. Previous winners include Brooks Koepka and Daniel Berger.

Charlie Woods will compete in the American Junior Golf Association Junior Players Championship on Aug. 28-31 at the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. He registered with the AJGA for the tournament on July 9. The Junior Players will be contested for the 19th time at the home course of The Players, the PGA Tour’s marquee event.
