Charlie Woods Slammed with “Little Punk” Remark – But There’s Respect Behind It, Says Justin Thomas

Charlie Woods, the son of Tiger Woods, is in the spotlight, and his performances in junior tournaments are being closely watched.

Most fans are wondering what the future holds for the 17-year-old, who is already showing signs that he could be a good golfer.

One of the professionals who has a great relationship with the young Charlie Woods is Justin Thomas. It seems that the 32-year-old is open to mentoring him.

On The Smylie Show, Justin Thomas joked about Charlie Woods, emphasizing that he has grown up a lot.

“He’s still a little punk but not a total punk kid. He can beat me up so I can’t say too much.”

Justin was asked if his relationship with the teenager was that of an older brother.

“I wanna be if he wants me to be,” he said, as quoted by MIRROR.

In an interview with the media, the American golfer emphasized that he is ready to help Charlie Woods and that he has already noticed serious talent in him. The PGA Tour golfer firmly believes that Charlie can have a great career, but it is too early to make any predictions now, and ultimately there is no need to put pressure on him.

“I was very lucky to have some people like that in my life and I know how helpful that was… I wanna help in any way I can. The shots that he can hit, a lot of guys on Tour can’t hit. He’s very, very impressive and I’m rooting for the best.”

Tiger Woods‘ son showed last year that he has strong potential. Many barriers will await him on his way to becoming a professional. The mentors he has can certainly be a guarantee of success, with Tiger Woods as the most significant figure.

Justin Thomas is preparing for the Masters, and his desire is to improve his form and show a high level of play. In an interview with the media, the experienced golfer emphasized that he feels good and recalled a comical situation from a few weeks ago.

“Right now I feel fine. I’m a little tired, to be honest,” he said. “ Last two weeks — it was really funny. In the physio room on Monday, I went in there and it was very quiet.

It’s usually very loud, because it’s a lot of banter and BS going on in there. But everybody just looked like crap, to be honest. Myself included.

I just kind of said, I was like, man, it’s quiet in here. And Andrew Novak was on the table and said, Yeah, probably because we got our faces kicked in these last two weeks.”
